A pilot scheme has been introduced to help Sorn residents get in and out of the village after they were virtually abandoned by Stagecoach.
SPT are providing additional funding to allow Coalfield Community Transport to link Sorn with Catrine, Cumnock and Stagecoach’s X50 service.
The pilot timetable – which was introduced for the first time on Monday –would give residents a more convenient public transport service with buses arriving and leaving regularly from 8.30am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.
