THE people of Netherthird were treated to a fantastic funday on Saturday, August 18.
Netherthird Initiative for Community Empowerment (NICE) hosted the event at the community centre.
The new charity shop proved a hit and a range of entertainment was provided for kids of all ages.
Margaret Campbell of NICE said: “It was a great day and there was a great turnout.
“We had quadbikes, a wrecking ball, bouncy castles and mini golf.
“There was home baking and cakes and we served teas as well.
“Our new charity shop was very busy and there was back to school clothes for the kids.
“The community got together and volunteered their time.
“It was a great success – especially with the kids, they loved it.”
