OCHILTREE and Skares Action Plan put on a successful Summer Celebration on Saturday, June 16.
A range of different stalls were on offer and kids of all ages were entertained by games, dancing, live entertainment, a bouncy castle, beat the goalie, face painting and an assault course.
Action plan member Alex Baird said: “It was a very successful day in between the showers. The turnout was very encouraging and we even got a wee bit of dry weather and sunshine towards the end.
“I want to pass my thanks to many of the stall holders and the different community organisations who were there.
“We plan to have the summer celebration as an annual event. In order to put it on this year, an application was made to the PB event Ochiltree had to provide goodie bags for the kids free of charge and the bouncy castle, things like that.
“In the end, East Ayrshire Council provided that free of charge so we are very grateful to them.
“We’re very pleased with the community support. The important thing was to get involvement of the community.”
