TWO people were taken to hospital after their car collided with Sanquhar Tollbooth on Sunday evening.
The Vauxhall Astra was being driven by a 64-year-old woman when the incident occurred at around 8.40pm.
She was taken to Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary along with her 66-year-old male passenger as a precaution.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "About 8.40pm on Sunday, June 24, a one vehicle road traffic collision happened on High Street, Sanquhar. A black coloured Vauxhall Astra car being driven by a 64-year-old woman from Symington was in collision with the Tollbooth Museum at the roadside.
"The vehicle was damaged as a result of the collision, although there was no damage to the building. The driver, and her 66-year-old male passenger were taken to Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary with back and chest soreness as a precaution."
