A CUMNOCK community group, based at St John’s Church, which consists of people of all generations has raised money for the Ayrshire Hospice.
In recognition of the age range of members, from toddlers to great-grandparents, the title 0-100 Group has been chosen as an appropriate name.
They took part in a sponsored walk in the grounds of the church in Glaisnock Street and raised £420 which was presented in a handover ceremony to Stephanie McLaughlin, fundraising officer at the hospice.
She said: “We are very grateful to St. John’s 0-100 Group for their fantastic fundraising efforts.
“What a wonderful atmosphere they have created at their social group.
“It was amazing to hear the range of age groups taking part in the sponsored walk/toddle.
“A huge thank you to everyone who took part and helped to raise funds for us.”
