A DELIBERATE fire has ravaged what is left of Glaisnock House on the outskirts of Cumnock.
The former stately home has been the target for vandals and looters who have virtually stripped the building and smashed most of the windows.
Now it has been left a virtual shell, having already been declared an unsafe area, a local resident told the Chronicle that it should now be condemned.
She said: "On Saturday evening, a man came to our door and said he could see smoke as he was driving on the A76 at the Cumnock by-pass."
