CUMNOCK Juniors Social Club was the venue for a charity fundraiser on Saturday, May 5.
In aid of the NET Patient Foundation, a group of friends got together to raise awareness and funds in the name of one of their group.
Kirsteen Veitch explained: “Neuroendocrine Cancer is an extremely rare cancer which affects our best friend Robyn so this is why we are trying to raise awareness. The NET Patient Foundation is a charity which supports individuals affected by Neuroendocrine Cancer.
“We held a fundraising event at Cumnock Juniors, which included a raffle, where we raised over £2,000 for the NET Patient Foundation. Thanks to everyone who came along and also to everyone who donated prizes we were overwhelmed with everyone’s generosity.”
