PATNA businesswoman Sarah Hunter is this year’s Spirit of ABW Award winner.

Sarah, who owns Pink Ivy Interiors and Hunter Tea, was stunned when the announcement was made at the monthly Ayrshire Business Women (ABW) monthly networking event.

The award is voted for by fellow ABW members and many of those who nominated Sarah explained why, saying: “She is a magician! How she juggles everything on a daily basis, I will never know. The definition of ABW,” ”

Pink Ivy Keepsakes was started by Sarah in January 2016. She has always loved crafting and making things. When she left school, she was going to Art College to build on her dream of becoming an interior designer. But that all changed when she took a summer job before starting college as a bookkeeper’s assistant and from then on, she worked in finance and studied accountancy.

But now with a young family and the drive to build her own business working from home in Patna.

Sarah, who launched also launched Hunter Tea earlier this year, said: I can’t thank you all so much for voting for me am so amazed.

“I am so pleased and lucky to be a part of amazing group of women, each and everyone of you have amazing skills which over the past two years I have been able to learn and grow myself in to a business woman.”

Liz Cooper, who donated the award in commemoration of her seven years as ABW President, added: “I am in awe of my fellow ABW members and Sarah is a very worthy recipient of this award in 2018.”
