A WOMAN threw milk and covered her estranged partner in brown sauce while carrying a young child.

The 26-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, admitted to assaulting her ex-partner in Patna by throwing milk and pour the sauce over him on January 19 this year.

She appeared before Sheriff Mhari Mactaggart at Ayr Sheriff Court last week.

Depute Fiscal, Andrew Lazzarin, explained: “It seems that the complainer and the accused had been in a relationship for nine years, but separated in September last year – they have two children together, aged four and one and both the children live with the complainer.

“It seems that the complainer drops the children off to the accused Monday to Friday.

“On the date of the offence, the complainer arrived at 11:45am when [one of the] children ran up to the accused front door.

“The complainer went and picked up the child to hand over to the accused to take control.

“But the accused was more interested to ask about a relationship the complainer was apparently having.

“As the complainer was leaving to go back to his car, the accused followed and threw milk over him while the child was in her arms.

“The complainer continued walking, saying that he was going to call the police.

“The accused then produced brown sauce, squirting it all over him.

“When the police arrived, they saw the complainer covered in brown sauce.

“They then followed the trail of the sauce in the snow, to the accused’s property.

“She was detained and interviewed where she said that the complainer is a good father and admitted that she called him a ‘d*ck’.”

Speaking on her behalf, defence solicitor Quinton Muir, said: “There is an involved arrangement between the two parties.

“On social media, someone commented to be in a relationship with the complainer.

“Her temper overtook her.”

Sheriff Mactaggart deferred sentence on the accused for six months and ordered her to be of good behaviour.
