DALMELLINGTON residents are being reminded to attend the Have Your Say Day on Saturday, February 24.
The event, jointly run by the Coalfields Regeneration Trust (CRT) and the Electoral Reform Society, takes place in the Scout Hall on Main Street between 10am and 1pm.
CRT say that the event is a unique opportunity for the village as they put up £20,000 participatory budget funding to get the area’s key priorities off the ground.
Elaine Stewart, CRT’s community engagement worker in Dalmellington said: “We hope anyone with views on how this community can realise its potential will get involved, either by contacting me to register their interest, or simply turning up on the day.
“We are laying on a free lunch, and there will be a follow up session at the same time and place on Saturday, March 24 to develop the ideas that we come up with at our first meeting. I am sure those who do take part will find the process both enjoyable and rewarding.”
