EX-PUPILS of Cumnock Academy and Mauchline Primary have enjoyed a trip down memory lane after they spotted themselves in recent Snapshot pictures.

First in the spotlight were the children from Mauchline PS who were presented with a memento for the millennium and featured in the Chronicle.

The children pictured were from P1 and P7 but every pupil in the school received a gift to commemorate the occasion in January 2000.

Of the nine pupils we have four gaps. Names we do have are, from left: Rhoda Morrison, Robbie Milligan, Kieran Dunnachie, unknown, Emma Davidson, unknown, Johnathan (surname unknown), unknown and unknown — get in touch of you can fill the gaps and/or provide Johnathan’s surname.

Cumnock Chronicle:

Just a few months later, in March 2000, our photographer visited Cumnock Academy for a charity cheque presentation.

Once again, our readers have got to work and have been sending us as many names as they can and we have just a few still to be named, from the Snapshots picture last week.

Someone thought that it might be first year from 1997 but our information is that it is third year modern studies three years later — so it is the same group.

So far we have the following names, but unfortunately not in any order — Mirranne Murphy, Alison Davers, Sanchez Donis, Alison Prentice, Gemma Leitch, Suzanne Douglas, Deborah White, Lisa Thomson, Kirsty Welsh, Sheena Ferguson, Elaine Mills, Karen Hill and possibly Shirley Ann Crossan.
