PUPILS from Greenmill Primary enjoyed their first venture into skiing.
It was part of the school’s project, Get Outdoors, which was helped by funding from Awards For All to provide a unique opportunity for the children.
This would present an alternative to their indoor physical education with the chance to experience outdoor learning, through skiing at Newmilns Snow and Sports Complex.
After their application was successful, it meant every Greenmill PS pupil will be taking to the ski slopes learning a new adventurous skill as well as the value of team work in an outdoor setting.
A spokeswoman for the school said: “The money received from Awards for All ensured that every pupil received free transport, their ski lessons completely free and lots of fun and adventure.”
