Police on the scene in Mauchline after an accident on the A76 at Station Road
SNOW has caused disruption to the morning commute across Cumnock and Doon Valley.
The A76 in Mauchline was closed after a three-vehicle accident at the War Memorial at the junction for Station Road and Catrine Road.
Between Auchinleck and Cumnock, a four-vehicle crash on the A76 closed the road for around an hour at 8am.
Public transport was also affected. Stagecoach were unable to service Muirkirk, Patna, New Cumnock, Bellsbank, Auchinleck and Catrine due to the weather conditions but services have to return to normal.
A Met Office yellow be aware weather warning for snow overnight and this morning has now passed.
