P7 PUPILS at St Patrick’s Primary in Auchinleck organised a venture to raise cash to boost school funds.
They took on the responsibility of putting the Christmas market together and helped the other classes to set up stalls and serve their customers.
The enterprising children had spent the weeks leading up to the event making items to sell, while there was a tearoom for the thirsty shoppers.
A spokeswoman for the school said: “The support from parents and families was great.
“We managed to raise more than £555 for school funds.”
