THE community of Sanquhar turned out in force for the annual Christmas Lights Switch at the weekend.
At the event - at Tolbooth Car Park on Saturday night - Sanquhar Academy Captains Elle Stewart and Ethan Weir performed the honour of turning on the Christmas Lights.
There were also different stalls, Bubbles the Clown, Sanquhar Silver Band. Upper Nithsdale Youth Pipe Band and MY Pod.
The talented youngsters from Sanquhar Primary School Choir and the Sanquhar Rainbow Choir also entertained the crowds.
And of course Santa and his helpers proved popular attractions, along with Clark’s Little Ark.
