IN a spectacular twist of fate, Ayrshire Cancer Support’s 35th Anniversary Ball raised £35,000. The event held at the Seamill Hydro Hotel on Friday 17th November saw over 220 people attend from across Ayrshire.
Laura Brown, Income and Marketing Manager for Ayrshire Cancer Support said: “I was overwhelmed by the generosity of our supporters, sponsors and friends, who really pulled out all the stops out to raise as much cash as possible on the night.
“The demand for our services is growing and as Ayrshire’s leading cancer charity, offering more services than any other cancer charity in Ayrshire, we have to continue to raise funds to ensure we deliver our life saving services to people affected by cancer in Ayrshire.”
The Ball was sponsored by McClure Solicitors, S&C Engineering and Seamill Hydro and supported by many business across Ayrshire.
