Stair Community Association is delighted to be a part of the Ayrshire Rural Touring Network (ARTN) and support a high-quality programme of theatre to be rolled out within the local community over the next two years.
This is a very exciting development and the association is looking forward to working in partnership with Stair Players, the Gaiety Theatre and the Northumberland Touring Company (NTC) to bring Dracula – the Travesty! to Stair Community Centre on Halloween.
Devised and created by NTC and Stuart Howson from the novel by Bram Stoker.
Light, funny and daft but with some genuinely scary moments, this is Gothic storytelling at its best: imaginative, atmospheric and physically exciting. Appealing to family audiences, the performance features all the anticipated elements of the story: wolves, bats and the Brides of Dracula with plenty of audience participation, humour and music.
Standard tickets cost £9, concessions cost £8 and children’s tickets cost £6 (suitable for ages 12+) and all can be purchased at Stair Community Centre, Trabboch, KA5 5HT at the door on the night (remember it’s Tuesday, October 31). Tea, coffee and home baking is included.
The performance starts at 7.30 p.m. and you can come in fancy dress if you wish.
