OUTGOING pupils of P7 put together the Leavers’ Service as St Patrick’s Primary in Auchinleck along with their teacher, Nora McCrorie.
They invited along their parents and some special guests, telling them about the qualities and skills they have developed at the school and each year group had a special message for them.
Each pupil was presented with a bookmark, pen set and autograph book from the school and were given a leavers’ sweatshirt from the parent council.
The Rotary Club of Cumnock presented them with a dictionary and Roger Clark came along to the event.
Father Philip Kitchen joined the celebrations and presented the pupils with their Pope Francis Faith Award.
Due to the bad weather, sports day had to take place indoors due to bad weather and a waterlogged field, but the children still had a fabulous day.
Active Schools Coordinator, Mark Devlin, was on hand to help with the organisation of the event.
