WARD 3C at Crosshouse Hospital has received a massive £4,000 donation to help patients who are going through cancer treatment McConnell’s Pharmacy have held an annual sponsored walk along the River Irvine for the past few years to raise money for different charities or organisations that have helped their patients.
On Sunday, June 4, 20 members of staff, their family and friends raised an amazing £4,375 that was presented to Clinical Director for Cancer Services Dr Peter MacLean and Senior Charge Nurse Emma Smith.
Dr MacLean said: “I would like to thank the team at McConnell’s Pharmacy for their very impressive fundraising effort.”
