THERE are only a few days left to nominate your local health hero in the Ayrshire Achieves awards.
The deadline for entries has been extended to Friday, May 26, to give people an opportunity to recognise the positive contribution of health workers and volunteers to the NHS.
Ayrshire Achieves is funded by NHS Ayrshire and Arran’s Charity Fund, and celebrates success while applauding excellence and innovation.
Employee director Stewart Donnelly said: “We’ve already received some wonderful entries recognising the many fantastic people, projects and plans that demonstrate the purpose, values and commitments of our organisation.
“We want to give even more people the chance to nominate their health hero, and so we have extended the deadline by another week.”
