A DRIVER narrowly avoided serious injury after her car left the road in New Cumnock.
Emergency services including two fire crews, from Cumnock and New Cumnock, police and ambulance personnel were deployed to the scene.
It happened at Dalhanna Drive, on Friday, May 19, just after 5pm, with the car ending up in bushes — it is understood no other vehicle was involved.
The woman who had been driving was taken to Ayr Hospital for a precautionary check-up but did not require any further treatment.
