AUTHOR Nick Sharratt got the children’s festival off to a bright and breezy start with his fun-filled show called Carrots, Kings, Cornflakes and Crocodiles.
He popped up later with his Drawalong sessions as did explorer Jason Lewis, who spoke about crocodile attacks, ocean crossings and pirates.
Illustrator Harriet Burbeck from New Orleans, brought her home city’s Mardi Gras Festival to Cumnock as she helped her young guests create colourful, feathered masks.
There was much more going on, with much of the activity taking place in and around the engineering centre while The Royal Drawing School also proved popular in The Rothesay Room.
And now everyone, young and old, is looking forward to next year.
