NEW Cumnock Community Council have organised a public event in connection with the upcoming council elections on Thursday, April 27 NOT April 26 as previously announced.
This will allow all the prospective candidates to speak to the community at the event, which takes place in New Cumnock town hall on Thursday, April 27, at 7pm.
A spokesman said: “We have organised this event to allow the New Cumnock community to hear from all prospective candidates, one after the other.
“As there are eight candidates standing for election, each will have five minutes to explain why they feel they are the best candidate to serve New Cumnock, followed by five minutes of questions from the public.”
