Generous donation to Cumnock school
A DONATION of £2,000 from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire has enabled a Cumnock school to invest in vital equipment.
Four representatives from the organisation visited Hillside School to present the cheque to head teacher Debbie Skeoch.
Their members’ generosity will mean the school can complete the purchase of a ‘magic’ carpet, a specialist sensory resource which will be beneficial to all pupils.
Described by Mrs Skeoch as a huge iPad, the device is a valuable teaching tool that allows pupils to experience content and learning in new ways.
