DEDICATED staff members of a Cumnock-based team that supports young people who need it most, have received recognition for their efforts.

Radical Services, who have two units in the town and another on the outskirts of Ochiltree, take the youngsters on outdoor adventures among other activities.

Many of them have had family breakdowns or other significant interruptions in their lives and are helped by the organisation to get things back on track.

Their vision for the children and young people coming is for them to have ‘a sense of belonging where they are cared for, valued and where they can fulfill their potential, shape their destiny and experience the joy of life’.
