SCHOOLS across the central belt of Scotland have today had bomb threats.
Police and Fire and rescue crews have been turned out to primary schools in North and South Lanarkshire, perth and also one in Ayrshire.
It is believed that no schools in East Ayrshire has been effected and that the school to have received the threat was in Ayr and pupils have since returned to class at Doonfoot Primary in Ayr after the bogus threat.
