CUSTOMERS are not getting an O2 mobile service in parts of Cumnock, Mauchline and Auchinleck, it has been claimed this week.
But the company told the Chronicle there had only been ‘one issue’. Our newspaper received reports that O2 customers are receiving intermittent service in Cumnock, and nothing in Mauchline or Auchinleck for the past few weeks.
One reader told the Chronicle that signal reception has been so bad they have not been able to call home, on the outskirts of Cumnock from the area near Tesco in Auchinleck. Further afield, others have reported problems in the Darvel area. O2 have said that there was only one issue from Friday November 13 at 11.15pm through to 10.25am on Saturday November 14 - which might have caused disruption to service at that time. However other than that, they say there have been no reported issues within the area. We would like to know if you, our readers, have you been having issues with your phone signal. If so get in touch on 01290 421633 or message us at facebook.com/cumnockchronicle.
