TORRENTIAL rain caused a house to flood in Sanquhar on Wednesday, December 18.
Firefighters raced to the scene to clear the water from the house, while Castle Street was also badly affected by the stormy conditions.
Emergency services crews were on site between 7.55pm and 9.15pm and used three pumps to clear the water into a nearby burn.
