Dalmellington Band, Ayrshire Fiddle Orchestra and Prestwick Schools Choir come together for the 21st annual Two's Company concert. In Ayr Town Hall on Saturday 9th November at 7.30pm Ayrshire Fiddle Orchestra are fund raising for their next international tour in 2014, which will take these gifted young players to South Africa, a wonderful opportunity for the young players and a wonderful advert for Ayrshire!
Dalmellington Bands are still trying to raise money for new instruments, to try and attract more young people into our junior band and, if any young players might be interested in joining the junior band ( beginners welcome ), please come along and see the progress made in the past few years. Dalmellington Junior Band are currently ‘Senior Section – Champions of Scotland’!
They are absolutely delighted to have, singing in the concert, Prestwick Schools Choir, featuring young singers from Heathfield and Glenburn primary schools.
Tickets for the concert are available from any members of the AFO and the Band abut are also on sale from Ayr Gaiety Theatre Box Office and available at the door on the night of the concert priced at: Balcony (no concession) £10, Stalls (downstairs only) £7, Concession (downstairs only) £5.
The AFO and the BAND will feature brand new music at the concert and will, as always, combine to feature well loved joint items on the night.
In addition to a great feast of popular music, there will be a bumper raffle draw on the night!
