Call-up man Kirk has village buzzing

Rangers defender Kirk Broadfoot is on the brink of establishing himself as a local hero.
The Drongan ace was last week called up to the Scotland squad as a late replacement after injuries to key players.
And while he didn't feature against Macedonia, he could be handed a first start against Iceland tonight (Wednesday).
Kirk's mentor, Drongan Primary School head-teacher John Crawford, reckons Kirk's call-up is just reward for continual effort and hard work. And he is backing the youngster to pick up more international honours now that he is a first-team regular at Ibrox.
