No cup luck for Muirkirk

Muirkirk co-boss Laurie Coughtrie has been cursing his side's luck after being handed a daunting five-hour trip north in the opening round of the Scottish Junior Cup.
District League strugglers Kirk, who have yet to secure a league point this season, were handed a trip to Strathspey in the opening round. They were one of only three sides who were given a First Round tie, with Lugar at home to Ballingry and Auchinleck Talbot also at home, to Nairn St Ninian.
