GLENS STEP UP STRIKER SEARCH
By Craig Winning
Glenafton will this week keep tabs on ex-Irvine Meadow striker Charlie Adams - after boss Gordon Dalziel admitted he was crying out for a striker.
Adams played on Saturday for the Loch Park club in the 2-0 defeat to Auchinleck Talbot. And he will feature against Cumnock before Dalziel decides on whether to sign the hitman.
With David Gormley leaving for Ayr and Stephen Whalen returning to
Craigmark, the Glens boss is desperately short of firepower as the new league season approaches.
