Glenafton striker David Gormley has signed a pre-contract deal with Second Division Ayr United, boss Gordon Dalziel has revealed.

The former Motherwell youngster impressed the Somerset Park side when he turned out as a trialist in last week's friendly against Partick Thistle. And now, United boss Brian Reid has swooped to take the prolific hitman back to senior football.
