GLENS LOSE TRIO

Comment Bubble Comments (0) Printer Print Article

Glenafton's next season preparation have been shattered following the lose of three influential players.

Premier league big spenders Irvine Meadow have agreed terms with Chic Connolly and Frankie Haggerty, while star midfielder willie Howie is set to return to the senior ranks with either Stirling Albion or Albion Rovers.

The shock moves come after the retirement of goalkeeper Gary Matthews, and the potential loss of stiker David Gormley - who has been linked with a move to several senior clubs.
