Burns gutted after loss

Queen of the South ace Paul Burns was left 'sickened' after Kris Boyd's late strike crushed his dreams of Scottish Cup glory.

But the Cumnock youngster insists Saturday's Cup Final has left him with memories he will never forget.

Burns played the entire 90 minutes against the UEFA Cup Finalists.

And while the national press were singing Queens' praises after they came back from 2-0 down to level up the scores, Burns still rues Boyd's late goal which ensured the Dumfries Club came so close yet so far.
