Kello boss Jasper Gardiner has left the club after being told he would be released at the end of the season.

After a two-year stint at the Kirkconnel club - taking over from Lawrie Coughtrie - Gardiner was told by the committee that his services were no longer required as of the end of the current campaign. Gardiner claims he told the committee he was considering resigning but wanted to take time to mull over his future.

But at a weekend committee meeting, it was decided to look for a new manager.
