NEW PLAYPARK 'TAGGED' WITHIN WEEKS OF OPENING

By Craig Winning

Printer Print Article

Dozy graffiti artists who left their mark on part of the new Woodroad Park may have unwittingly identified themselves by their tag.

The Woodroad Park Regeneration Forum say they have been left ‘gutted’ by the vandals and fear it might jeopardise the future of the project.

Garry Savage of the Woodroad Group said: “We are absolutely devastated, especially as the new play park has been just built.

"We would like the individuals responsible for this to be found and punished.”

Cumnock Police say they are following a positive line of enquiry but anyone with information is asked to contact them on 01290 306600.
