FLY GUYS: WE'RE THE WORST IN SCOTLAND

Dumb dumpers in Cumnock and Doon Valley have contributed to East Ayrshire receiving the worst record in Scotland for fly-tipping.
And a local environmentalist is calling for greater enforcement of the laws to stop people using the our countryside as a haven for rubbish.
Brian Broadley, Chair of Lugar and Logan Community Council has seen numerous incidences of fly-tipping over the last few months, and is calling for more people to report fly-tippers to the Council or SEPA.
Anyone wishing to report incidents of fly tipping can contact the Council’s 24 hour helpline on 08457 24 00 00, or SEPA’s Waste Action Line on 0800 389 5270.
