HUNT FOR FIRESTARTER AFTER BLAZE RIPS THROUGH HOUSE

Firefighters fought inferno for five hours
A massive blaze that ripped through a listed building in Cumnock last Saturday night was started deliberately.
Fire fighters battled the inferno at Riverside House located at the cross between Barrhill Road and Lugar Street for almost five hours.
Four fire engines were needed to extinguish the blaze.
Inspector Jim Drennan confirmed the blaze at the property formally owned by late businessman Stewart Lane was started maliciously.
