POWER CARD CONCERNS
By Sandy Kilpatrick
Scottish Power say there is little they can do as more customers come forward
An energy customer claims a top electricity company knew of powercard concerns at a Mauchline store 15 months ago but failed to take action. #
But Scottish Power insist issues with PayPoint are not their responsibility.
Last week the Chronicle reported on the plight of Eliza Murdoch , who has a debt of £140 after buying Powercards at the store in question.
A spokeswoman for Scottish Power said: “We are sympathetic towards these claims and they are currently investigating them but it is unlikely that we will be able to do anything.”
