Fifty-two female bikers are set to travel around the West Coast to raise money and awareness for cancer support.

The girls, led by Mauchline Hillbillies Motor Cycle Club member Shirley-Anne Barnes, will don pink mohicans and pink high-visibility vests during the three-day tour, which will start in Kilmarnock and take in places like Glasgow, Oban and Fort William.

And they will be joined by 15 male bikers who will all be wearing pink bras outside their leathers.

The trek is in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support and came about after Shirley was inspired to ride a motorcycle by her pal Alyson Porter, who battled Breast Cancer.
