RAWSON Dr. Donald Peacefully at Berelands House, Prestwick, on Sunday 19th March 2017, Donald Alexander Rawson, aged 96 years. Retired GP, formerly of Kavalla, Mauchline. Beloved husband of the late Beryl, dear father of Jennifer and the late Michael, father-in-law of David and Cathy and granpa to Colin and Fiona. The funeral service will take place at Mauchline Parish Church on Monday 27th March at 2.15pm, thereafter to Masonhill Crematorium for 3.30pm to which all friends are respectfully invited. Family flowers only please.

Dr Rawson was quite simply the best example of a family GP in the true sense of that title ...and those of us who were lucky enough to be one of his patients.....will remember him for his care and compassion......May he rest in Peace.
